A scientific expedition arrives at an island inhabited by the legendary ape. Its members witness a duel King Kong fights with a giant dinosaur (a Gorosaurus), and later, with a mighty sea serpent. A mandatory romantic subplot is introduced: our charming gorilla falls for Susan, a member of the expedition. Meanwhile, a diabolical Dr. Who weaves his demonic plans somewhere in the icy North. He is working on isolating a supernuclear substance which could help him to rule the world. Itís not enough that he creates a gigantic Mechakong robot; he also decides to snatch the original. Forced into slave labor, Kong finally manages to break his chains and follow his darling. The climax, naturally, takes place in Tokyo, where the robot and King Kong fight one another. Thereís nothing left of Mechakong but a heap of scrap metal, and the vivacious gorilla leaves Japan, swimming across the ocean back to his island. Oh, and he sinks the mad scientistís ship on his way, but thatís obvious.
* Giant Sea Snakeóitís a minor part, created to embellish the narrative and to showcase King Kongís physical prowess. Thatís why it doesnít appear in the gallery. The picture should make up for it, though:
